In Giants' lore, they have had many forgettable defeats.
This is my Top 5 list of gut-wrenching losses. These are games which the Giants should have won and let victory slip through their fingers.
Number 1: The Fumble Game. This loss tops my list because I was at Giants Stadium on this infamous day. As a young fan, this was the first time I attended a game at Giants Stadium.
Number Two: Giants vs 49ers NFC Wildcard Playoff 2003
I was gulping Maalox for days. What a disgrace! After their season ended, the Giants should have fired Fassel.
Number Three: Dallas vs Giants 1985
A botched center/quarterback exchange cost the Giants the game.
Number Four: Jay Feely! Giants vs Seahawks 2005. After this debacle, Coughlin should have cut Feely.
Number Five: Eagles vs Giants 2003. Brian Westbrook returns a punt for a game winning touchdown. Why was Feagles kicking to him?
